Personal Paradise. 10/26/11

This week, my personal paradise would have to be a trip to the beach.  After looking at my pictures from vacation this summer, I miss it already!! If anyone has a beach house they would like to let a poor college girl house sit this summer, or spring break, or even Christmas break, just give me a call.  :)

It wouldn't hurt for fireman to be there with me! :) I love his sleepy/groggy face in the last picture! (PS, it was our one year anniversary on Monday!)

Metallic Militia.

This weekend, I made some silver army men for one of my biggest inspirations and most talented of friends, Carrie. 

Here's how:

Get some army men.  

Get the most magical color of spray paint there is. 

This spray thing makes any project go faster and your hands stay clean! 

Spray away. 

Flip and repeat.

Morgan's Happy Five.

It's Morgan's Birthday Week!! We went to The Potpourri House for lunch today to celebrate! It was delicious.  And she's adorable.. check out her cute hair from our favorite Steven!!

While at lunch, we discussed our favorite verses, recent goals we've had, and her happy five.

5. Chocolate!

I adore her and how real she is.  I can tell her anything, and she will tell me her honest opinion.  No holds barred with this girl!!!

Birthday Princess.

I was so excited to spend time with my best friend and cousin Hillary last weekend.  She came in for her birthday! Our families went out to lunch after church and laughed like we did when Hillary and I were little girls.

Our tradition is to buy each other tiaras for birthday fun.  Luckily, her tiara came with super classy pink extensions this year.

Our moms are super cute too. 

(Missy is the shortest member of our family, but has way better posture. We always laugh at how tall she is in pictures :))

Do Something Different.

Today, or tomorrow, or all week, do something differently than how you usually do.

Always make your bed? Leave it unmade.  Always leave it? Make it up.

Always wear make up? Go natural.  Never wear it? Wake up 10 minutes early and put on some mascara.

Always wear Norts and a tee to class? Try dressing up.

Carry a different bag.  Talk to someone new.  Don't get on any social networking sites.  Talk to someone new.  Hug someone.  Tell someone you love them that you don't usually.

Anything.  Just change up your pattern.  You never know how you will like the change, and maybe it will permanently change the way you think.
